I think this may already be out there somewhere, so maybe it just needs to be legal. I would love a small tracking device to left in the deer after it's shot to make finding it easier. Expensive? Probably.

I dont know what the cost would be but it seems it could be done.

I am thinking of a small tracking device that you could slip in the frame of a treestand, in your game cam, ladder sticks, etc.....

If your gear would grow legs and walk off it would be nice to hit a button on said GPS and see where it is?

Seriously? Do they expect you to take your case to the stand with you?
They sell it here for $39.99, great price too.

In Da Woods.......... Yes, it was $39.99 and it JUST MIGHT be considered a "Bow Case" if you think about it. A piece of equiptment that covers your bow and something that carries other items.. The pockets make it just as much of a case as the Plano one I used to have... I would definately get with DNR up there and check, but you have a very very good agruement that "THIS" would be considered a case...... Right up until they say " It has to be shut or locked"........ Gonna be how they "Interprate" the law..

Problem with this Is Idiots would be taking all sorts of stupid shots at animals just so they could hit them and follow the chip In the deer.

I agree. Stupid shots and also takes part of the challenge out of the bow hunting experience which is post shot.
