    I dont carry a rangefinder, But a Bow and Binos are a must. I carry a wastepack usually with my calls, field dressing equiptment, rubber gloves, Tinks spray incase I sweat a little and always take water.

    Yeah, this is really really dumb but way back when I first started hunting (maybe 10 or 11) I had this stupid thought in my head that I might get lost and come across a pay phone. :lol:

    Its easy to say "Too Much" until you need something or you're lost. Depending on where I am hunting can change what I carry. If it's a simple hunt small woods, local, I carry the basics which is still at times too much.
    spare small light, P-cord, grunt, bug repel, T-Paper, spare batteries, saw, treble hook, reflective tacks,whistle, Ibprofin, zip ties,food bar, water.

    If hunting in the mts, BIG woods, all the above plus;
    space blanket, lighter, second piece of P-cord, compass, GPS, chem stick.

    Bow/arrows/release first.

    Binos are a MUST, on your chest, always ready.

    Backpack with camera arm/camera (if you go that route), full water bottle, assorted grunt calls, rattling antlers, bow hoist rope, extra screw in bow holders, knives for killing, gutting and skinning and cell phone. Phone is a must. Toilet paper and two good flashlights (One for walking in/out...one for tracking).
