Haven't been on for awhile, been tied up with work lately. I came, or found, this site because of some negative and harsh interaction with members of another forum and it wasn't AT. Most of the time on other forums you can recognize the handles of users of forums you frequent sometimes, but not this one and that's a good thing.

There have been times when I've seen a few disagreements among members on here but nothing like the other places...

Seems to me that most threads/posts on this site keep the Ridiculousness in the Water Cooler section...as it should be. The majority of the rest of the content is pretty civil and at least usually informative.

I used to be on WranglerForum a lot... Holy God did that go south in a hurry. Eventually it may happen here but with the top notch moderators on her I think we'll be OK for a while longer.

seems like people on this forum all have one common goal. to shoot nice bucks no matter what the equipment or hunting tactics! I think if a bad egg comes here he will get run off in a hurry by all the members not just the moderators.

I'm new here, definitely a wealth of information to be had at this site and AT as well. I just got sick of sifting thru the negativity / ranting to find good advice over @ AT. Glad I decided to create a profile here, everyone seems to have positive input rather than constantly tearing folks down. As the Pastor said; there are some amazing deals to be had on the AT classifieds, but the bad outweighs the good overall imo.

Yeah I never liked it over there. Too much drama, etc. I pop in over there occasionally just to check out the classifieds.

I was just thinking about how cool this site is. There is literally people from all parts of the spectrum. Guys that have been bowhunting for 30+ years and have taken multiple trophy class deer, all the way to guys that have just bought their first bow and need advice on hanging their first stand. I have seen nothing but class on this site. "Never look down on anyone unless youre helping them up" -unknown

I agree. Finding good information on the Internet is sometimes tough. I think Bowhunting.com is a good source of quality information. Keep it up...whatever your doing to keep the crap out! I think Bowhunters are a different group of hunters...we value our rights as hunter's and simply respect people. Great job keep it going!

My first compound, way back when, was Bear Polar LTD, now I shoot my Hoyt Vectrix, but I won't give up my Easton XX75s! Oh yea, I LOVE my Wisker Bisquit, wouldn't use any other rest for hunting.

Too many big egos. People feel like if they can tear someone down, then they feel better about themselves. I belong to lots of different forums. I would say this one is probably the best with lots of friendly folks willing to help or answer a question. If you think archery talk is bad, check out Taxidermy.net, lots of testosterone flowing over there.

A lot of drama on AT....which I find comical and entertaining. You can actually stir the pot with getting reprimanded, which is also fun and refreshing. The power's that be and a large majority no very little about hunting, but that's the norm for all the sites I've been on....and last but not least, Matthews really does suck regardless of what forum you go to:)
