His was in the Kohath clan. The tribe of Levi was broken up into three tribes: the Kohathites, the Gershonitez, and the Merarites Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's your call as in you are giving away the stands. But I was referencing the total number found in Numbers 4:47-48, since that was the reading today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Judgement: The follow up question was clearly worded. The study for the day is all encompassing. The first to answer was Matt. The first correct answer posted was Froman. wreckless, would you concur?
Getting back to the normal format, today's reading is Numbers 5 - 6 and Psalm 68. Questions are: 1. a. What did a man do if he felt his wife had been unfaithful? b. If a woman was guilty of unfaithfulness what would happen to her? 2. What were the requirements to be a Nazirite? 3. What did a Nazirite do? 4. What goodness has God done for Israel? And you are more than welcome to post any questions that you can think of from the reading that might generate conversation.
1. a. Present his wife before the priest with a cereal offering (a tenth of an ephah of barley meal). b. The curse will set upon her and her belly will swell and her thighs will waste away, so that she will become an example of imprecation among her people. 2. The vow. No razor shall touch his hair until the period of his dedication is over. Abstinence from strong drink and fruits of the vine. 4. Awesome in his sanctuary is God, the God of Israel; he gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!
Today's Reading in Numbers 7 Numbers 7:10 *For the dedication of the alter also, the princes brought offerings before the alter on the day it was anointed. 11 But the Lord said to Moses, "Let one prince a day present his offering for the dedication of the altar." Quiz: 1. Name the princes one through twelve, who their Fathers were, and tribe they belonged to. 2. The animals for the peace offering were, in all, ? oxen, ? rams, ? goats, and ? yearling lambs.
Not going to lie, the book of Numbers is definitely a challenge for me. It seems to be repetitive with the different tribes.
Today's Reading is Numbers 8 - 10 and Psalm 71. Questions are: 1. What did the rest of the Levites become to God? 2. What was the age range for service of the Levites? 3. If someone could not keep the Passover because of uncleanness or not available, what were they to do? 4. When did the Israelites know to pick up and move? 5. How long had the Israelites stayed at Mount Sinai? (See Exodus 19:1) 6. What was the use of the two silver trumpets? 7. What is the writer’s request?
While it would be awesome to have more active participants, that isn't my goal for this. It is to provide a reading plan for those who want to read the bible in a year. The questions are there to encourage participation, not require it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, I know. Kinda like reading the posts, not joining the site, and lack of avatar creativity. Carry on...
Wreckless, Pardon me here for a sec if you would.. Froman, your set of The Bow Stands is built, boxed, and should ship out Monday. PM sent with details and congratulations on getting the correct answer in the study here. Stick around if you can and all are encouraged to participate here. Back on track--->
^^^ this is why I don't make a big deal out of the participation. I know people are following and sharing faith isn't the easiest thing to do, especially with people who you don't know. Or at least it is for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
