Bowhunting.com 1st Annual Get Together

I know we had a long post about this a while back but I am unable to find it. At that time we were discussing the weekend of June 27th as the weekend for the event. Have we now confirmed that or are we still looking at other dates? I know we have fathers day the weekend before I believe and several birthdays during that same timeframe. Only reason I ask is I have seen other posts talking about June dates and I want to make sure we don't double book stuff.

That date works great for me. I have already reserved several spots a the local park. And the traditional friday night bonfire will be raging again!

 

Don't put your tent on that angle this year, lol

 

My tent has been in the exact same spot for the last 2 years and will probably be in the same spot again next year! LOL Only this year it will be setup Tuesday afternoon. I really should just take the entire week off and go the previous friday!

Dude the side you slept on must of been fine because the side I was on sure sloped. Damn it this don't look good
for us among the others here.
What I am saying is I am in that tent again but move move east 10 feet.

Ferg, I think that's the date we picked. I know for sure it was the weekend after father's day, because that what Justin suggested first. But with that holiday, alot of people may have been too busy. I'm planning on being out there early again, maybe thur this time. lookn' foward to it & seeing every one again.

I should be able to make it once again but its still a ways out. Starting a new job in january but I have vacation. The days of easy college summers are over .

 

Enjoy yourself boys.... if it stays the 27th I won't be able to come.

We hold the get-togethers at our hunt club in Garden Prairie, which is about an hour/hour and a half West of the city towards Rockford. That would be great if you could make it!

As for the date, we're looking at the weekend of the 27th right now. Like many people said, the weekend before is Father's Day and the weekend after is July 4th. So we either shoot for the 27th or push it back to the 13th or forward to July 11th. You guys let us know what works best for the masses, and we'll do our best to plan accordingly.
