We noted it in the write-up that accompanied the video. But who reads anymore?

Great job! It was interesting to see and look forward to next year. The Shuttle T-Lock stood out to me.

compared to leather and gel; live skin and especially hair is going to cause a significant increase in drag upon entry - which would logically mean a more fully deployed head.

I'd be interested in see how uniform the weights are of the heads across a pack. Great job over all!

    Really enjoyed this. Thanks gents.

Question - for a new guy, it's my understanding is that penetration is king (i.e. Wack me fixed 4 blade wins).

But what about cutting diameter. Does it make sense to select a BH with larger cutting diameter vs a BH that penetrates more if your goal is for 100% pass through with maximum hemorrhaging.

I would agree with your thoughts regarding penetration, but to me accuracy trumps everything. Put the arrow where it is suppose to go and you can kill a deer with a field tip. If I have a broadhead that will go through 2 deer yet I cannot get them to group consistently at 30-40 yards - that penetration value becomes much less valuable. I would have like to have seen the grouping results at 40 yards. In this 20 yard test the Dead Ringer Super Freak, Ramcat Diamonback, Trophy Taker Shuttle T-Lock, and the Rage Trypan were the only 4 to shoot within 1/2" groupings. That's impressive. Of those 4 Ramcat Diamondback & Trophy Taker Shuttle T-Lock were #2 and #3 in penetration.
