Lol your guys beards are cute. Here is a couple pics of mine, it use to be 9 1/2 inches but I trimmed 2 inches off about a month ago. The last pic is how long it use to be, and to make it better I just turned 20 in May. [IMG]

Has anyone ever tried beard oil? I brought and tried some beard balm a couple of months ago. It was pine scented. It supposed to keep your beard from getting scratchy.

    Ok you might win ha.
I've used Bearded Bastard and Beardbrand oil. They helped with mine and made it so wasn't so dried out. Working outside all day and with concrete could tell difference after using oil. I've also got some kind of balm that use, can't remember the name but it came off of beardbrand's site. Both those places have a woodsy type sent if that's what you like or few others I've tried that aren't bad. That's all I've tried but there's tons out there.

Beard brand urban garden and four vices are the only oils I will ever use but they do wonders. Also to keep it soft only shampoo once every 2 weeks and condition 3 times a week, other than that just rinse with cold to medium warm water hot water kills it.

Also I wouldn't use recommend using balm on a shorter beard, it is used for more sculpting and holding larger beards, or it should be used as that. A good solid oil from beard brand will leave your beard light weight, soft, slight ahine, hydrated with essential oils, and of course smelling great! Also keep your hands off the beard as much as you can, it will help from stripping the oils off it and will keep it way softer as well

I had a decent beard going after last hunting season but I trimmed it off once I got back into the swing of civilization (aka around females)... I miss it at times. That was a 7 week beard.
