How many guys hunt alone? I don't really know any hunters in the area where I live, we'll see how this season goes.

I do it alot.just make sure someone is aware of your location in case something happens. Fortunately my son is able to go with me now and we will start sitting in different stands this year.

I don't necessarily hunt "with" people but people I know hunt the same property I'm on.

Most of my hunting is done alone. That said, someone always knows what tree I'm in on that particular night in case things go bad.

I almost always hunt alone. There are a few gun hunts with my neighbor in his stands nut that's the only one with someone.

I'm the same way. Not because I want to. It just seems like a lot of people already have hunting buddies.

    I like the quiet though.

I have always hunted alone due to being the only one in the family that hunted. I do have my daughter showing some interest in it now and took her with me once last year. I promised to take her again this October so we will see how many times she will go. When it comes to rut season she knows the woods are off limits to her due to daddy putting on the game face! Here is a pic from her first and only sit last year. The ipod held her over most of the time until we saw a yote then she wanted to just watch with me. She did a very good job up there being only 9 and no patients.

I have always hunted alone, however I might have a camera person with me more often this year. It will definately make filming my hunts easier.

I generaly look for one serious hunting partner but they are hard to find. Takes some time to find someone that hunts like you and when you finally do something happens that seperates the two of you and the search is on again.

I am doing a Mule deer stalk hunt this year. Got an area where they are thick, and I am gonna try to get one. All Alone. Took my wife on a scouting trip so at least someone knows the area.

I usually hunt with others but got a lease so that I could hunt alone if I wanted too but when I hunt alone I prefer to be by myself. :-)

If I'm in the woods (deer or turkey), I'd rather be alone. You can't talk anyways. But when I duck hunt the more the merrier, however I am usually alone. My brother is 12 and able to hunt with me this year but he will be limited to weekends obviously because of school. My father used to hunt until I turned 16 and could legally hunt alone. Now he'd rather sleep in

My brother hunts my property and so do I. On ocassion we will hunt my buddy stand together but, not often. He was on stand with me when I harvested my first deer last season. It was pretty nice to share that moment with him. I highly doubt we will this year though.
