My buddy has killed 3 deer so far this year. From the shed beside his house. Right after work. No scent control. No wind concerns. No noise concerns. In his work clothes. With his bow. And he is not even close to being a dumbass.

Orkan, I agree with everything you said. I mean no offense but you are a poster child for every anti-hunting / gun activist. Anti-Gun rights and government agencies are full of people that uneducated and have hidden agendas.

I want to keep my rights, I am sure you do too. Something everyone should be thinking about.

I haven't once said bowhunting is hard. It's stupidly easy to go out and kill a deer w a bow these days. Doesn't change the fact that gun hunting is even that much easier. Why are guys so defensive about the fact gun hunting is easier than bow hunting? I don't get it.

This has long since needed shut down.
It attitudes like some of the ones presented here why I hate to be lumped into the collective group of "hunters" at all. It sickens me from both sides.

Is that why you use a pistol ?? :busted: :D

I have to agree with Ryan. I hunt because I enjoy it. I hunt legal. If you don't like how I hunt... tough !!! Waste your breath on someone else cause I don't care what you think. I won't waste my time listening to garbage. I am kind of an elitist jerk in that respect.

Guys who talk like this on this forum should be banned from it. I see you have 25 post so I know you are new here. I havent been here that long but, long enough to know we all respect each other and never disrespect another for their views even if we don't agree with them. Its guys that talk like this that give "Hunters" in general a bad rap period. I joined this forum to not have to worry about this type of talk coming from felow forum members.

I agree. This is what I don't understand either. I just don't understand why some gun hunters have to make it as hard or harder to kill a deer with a gun as it is with a bow. IMO it has nothing to do with elitism, it's just simple logic and facts. It has nothing to do with it not being hunting or knowing what you're doing. Just the methods are very different. Also, like has been said it isn't that hard to kill a deer with a bow these days. And IMO it is even less hard with a gun.

Whatever the case may be. If it's legal and makes you happy, then get r done. Nobody in their right mind should bash you for killing a deer the way you want to if legal and ethical. Knock as many down as you're allowed I'll congratulate you. The only thing some are saying is there is a difference in the manner of taking... that's all.

If the moderation tools were working properly, I would have locked it a long time ago.
