I finally had a little time to myself yesterday evening and was able to catch up on the Bowhunt or Die series. I really enjoyed watching, so if your like me and haven't had time or haven't made time to watch these online Bowhunting.com videos, they are well done.

Thanks Troy, we're sure working pretty hard at it! It's a ton of work to gather the footage and get it edited in less than a week. Plus just trying to get good footage is tough in itself.

Here's a link to the videos in case anyone wants to check out any of the episodes they may have missed. My beard and I are hosting this week's episode that will be up on Friday. We're just putting the final touches on it today actually.

EPISODE ONE - Season openers. Todd, Cody, and Richie all score on does. Mike has an encounter with a nice buck. Todd has two good encounters with shooter bucks.

EPISODE TWO - Todd has an encounter with "The White Racked Giant", Richie passes a nice two year old, John Mueller schwacks a doe, and Dustin checks in from Wyoming with some more doe action.

EPISODE THREE - Todd closes the deal on The White Racked Giant, Johnny Herrmann aka Johnny Miller puts down a stud 8 point in Northern WI, and myself and my bro-in-law whack a couple does in Central IL.

EPISODE FOUR - Our buddy Jeremy Leu from the Campbell Outdoor Challenge puts down a nice 150" Southern IL buck, Richie and his buddy put down a doe and a buck, I have a nice encounter with another 2 year old, and Todd checks in from Wisconsin with some cool buck footage.

Justin, I was gonna comment on the beard man! Keep it, looks good. My bud and I here at work have a no shave deer season agreement, till we kill a buck that is.. then we can! I can only imagine how much work that is to produce all of it, let alone lay down the footage. Are you guys all using HD cams now? I am trying hard to film myself and get on on cam this year. I would like to pick up a compact HD camera, was looking on Campbells page today. Is that Sony HD compact 350 .. quality enough for vid footage, that size of camera would work great attached to my bow..

Troy - Todd and I are both using the Sony HDR-AX2000 camera, which is HD. It's a bigger camera though, and really better suited for a cameraman than filming yourself. Cody has a Canon HF-S20 (or very similar) camera that is HD and much smaller. The only drawback with those smaller cams is they pretty much suck in low light. You need a bigger lens to gather more light if you want it to look good, which means a bigger camera.

Filming yourself is a PITA! I was fortunate enough to get my shot on film this past weekend, but it's not nearly as good as it would've been had someone been with me to film. But, you gotta do what you gotta do!

Glad you guys are enjoying it, this week is going to be killer. 4 bucks down in one episode.

I have enjoyed them also. Its nice to see what a deer looks like when an arrow actually hits it. I forgot what that looks like this year. Keep up the good work!
