I bought a pse bow madness xs after last years gun season. I have never owned or hunted any bow before, accept for when I was a kid. That being said I started out not unlike most you wanting to extend my hunting season. I researched bows in my price range but I ended spending more than I wanted to. I was looking at the pse stinger bare bow for 300.00 and ended up with last years model ready to shoot bow madness. I know this may sound like bow envy but I am very happy with my choice. I got a buddy I hunt with interested as well and Guess what he got the same bow except he got 70lb limbs and has another in of draw lenth 30" to my 29", he's almost 40fps faster than my 251fps and he's not even maxed out on draw weight. the moral of this long story is Archery has become an obsession we've shot hundreds if not thousands of arrows and my advice is to get the best and fastest bow you can get! I like pse and if I could afford another one I would get a dream season evo.
