Hey all, I've been putting a lot of thought into replacing the stock string on my bow with a custom string. Reasoning is a few coworkers and friends use them but I'm not convinced.
What are your thoughts on the necessity and if so which string is the best?
    Thanks!

I don't know if it is a necessity but I have changed mine every 2-3 years.
I've used ProString with really good luck.

I've been using Bow String Depot, can't ask for better service. Not sure what you want, they'll make up samples so you can check out different color combos.

A good set of custom strings tend to me more stable (no stretching, less peep rotation) and last longer than a stock set. As for string material, many of the string makers have information on their websites about the different string material.

Swise covered it. It's not just new colors.

I use Bow String Depot and have been very pleased. Great service and great quality.
