So i shoot a Hoyt Vtec, was pulling about 67lbs. Recently I began to experience a sharp pain in my drawing shoulder (right shoulder, i'm right handed), so i dropped the poundage down to about 60lbs.
My question is, is now my string is kinda loose and you can almost move it around a little since I pulled the limbs back when I was lowering the poundage. Is this normal/safe to shoot?

    Thanks

Since you decreased the # the cams move closer to each other. This allows for more play in the string. It is normal.

probably wouldn't hurt to get new string and cable set, i got a new one from Korbins custom bow strings and they work great. i'm not trying to nock hoyt bows because they build great bows but i had a 2006 trykon and man was that thing hard to draw, especially the first 6-8 inches, i had it set on 66 lbs and it felt more like 75 or 80
