The Pse stinger is a good solid bow. The strings are a material called 8125 by bcy. Its not a long life string. You did well to get 3 years out of them. A good solid material is Trophy or even 452x. There are quite a few that I know build strings as well as myself. From 60xstrings, Reaper custom strings, Vapor Trail etc etc, If you are interest in us we are bowstringdepot.com and I back what I sell. I have sold to a few on here.

man, i am truly impressed with you. i shot you an email 2 weeks ago concerning this. the name was Evan if you remember, i will look into this for sure. i will probably order a set of strings at the end of this deer season so i have time to efficiently get everything back to normal to ensure my shot confidence.

Yes I do remember you Evan, hopefully we can get you on track. Hunting season is not where you want to be playing with a peep or string.

Yeah 3yrs is a long time. I also shoot the 3G Stinger and love it. But the life of the string was not impressive at all. I replaced mine in than less 9 months after I bought my bow. Mind you I was shooting a lot and I also joined my first league and took first place. Good luck with your new string, I went with vapor trail and I am happy.

x2, VaporTrail uses 452x or their own blend (VTX). I use the VTX material and i'm definitely getting faster speeds than with original factory strings. They also have outstanding customer service. Not that others don't, but VT will have the new strings on your doorstep in three days. Usualy about $85 bucks for a single cam.

I would order your string from Hutch. I got his strings on both my PSE's and could not be any happier. VERY well made. Great customer service too! The BCY Trophy is some great material.
