Servings! One thing I would like people to know is about servings. One misconception is Halo comes in Clear (white) only. On the contrary halo comes in many colors white just happens to turn clear and that is what most people talk about. Halo is a braided serving, which makes it grip better and stronger.
Its cost is higher but in most cases its worth the extra.

Okay BSD followers, here is a subject that has come up a lot.

New String installation and when to install the peep.

Some install the peep once the string is installed.
This is not the correct way.
The correct way is to install the string and adjust the bow to the manufacturers specs.
Since this is a new string the servings are going to be stiff. Once installed the strings will need to settle in the cam grooves this takes a few shots to do. Then and only then the stiff servings will bend to the cam and form the needed shape. We recommend approximately 20 shots. We know that is not always necessary but it is good insurance. Once this is done install the peep and take a few more shots. You may find the peep a little turned. At this point add a half twist to the bottom of the string to stabilize the peep. If you still need to turn the peep add another half twist to correct it and a little at a time works well. Now if you have the peep with in an 1/8 inch or less, slide your lower peep tie off up or down to correct this and make it lay straight.
A correct installation the peep should be straight from rest to full draw.

All servings are done in proper direction and under correct amount of poundage to eliminate peep-sight rotation and serving separation.
