So I ordered new strings from BSD to replace the stock PSE strings. I got them home and started to break them in, I had just moved out to 30 yards and go figure something went wrong....................it ruined two of my arrows.

All seriousness, this was the first time I have ever ordered new strings and am extremely happy with them. It seems like my bow shoots tighter and smoother. I am not an expert, nor do I claim to be, but I have my confidence in my bow has been raised. Its been said 1000 times before, BSD makes some good stuff and the customer service is great.

Hutch really does make some great strings and dealing with him is nothing short of a pleasure! I know I wont be buying strings from anywhere else. I suggest him to everyone I know.

Not only are their strings top of the line, the customer service is awesome. As long as bows have strings they've got my business.

I knew I could get some folks to look.
I will say, I don't know if its me or just what new set of strings does, but I can hit quarters at 30 easily now. Still working back to 40,50, making sure I get them broke in and sighted.

Yeah I tried to get Hutch to reimburse me for these arrows but he just said his strings come with a warning not to shoot groups LOL :) . (That's a joke)

I want to get some strings from him. Now I might buy a new bow around December- February so I might just replace the new ones with his and keep the stock strings as a backup.

Funny. I was talking to the PSE guy at my pro shop today. He was telling me that PSE has the worst stock strings and the best investment to make for a PSE (beyond the sights, stabilizer etc) is getting different strings. That grouping is amazing man. Such a tight grouping! What strings did you go with and how much did it run you? I'm considering upgrading my strings. Lastly, if I get my bow strings and it tuned up will it be okay to do when season starts or should I wait til the end of the season to change my strings?

Just PM him and be prepared with what colors you want, which as I found is much harder than naming a child. He walked me through the entire process and you will not be let down when you get them on. I have not really had to move my sights, I have shot about 50 arrows and the grouping is staying tight.
Soooooo, just go ahead and do it.
