Bow squeek... help!

    Girl friends bow squeeks from the string spliter. Its plastic and the deer spooked when she drew due to noise.. does anybody know what i can put on it ir how to make it quite? Showed part in picture

    I had the same issue on my old bow. The plastic cable slides start to drag and create noise so I took the cable slide off and replaced with a Teflon one from pine ridge archery. It eliminated the noise and chatter I had.

    Clean the rod for now and buy a Saunders ASAP.

    You might try a tiny bit of vaseline on the rod. The one on your bow! :lol: :tu:

    There is a couple things you can do. Like others said you can clean it really well and apply a small amount of lubricant like teflon grease or replace it with a new teflon slide.

    I used gun oil for a temporary fix for mine. But I have heard you are suppose to use graphite powder. I just didnt feel like running to the hardware store to get this.
