Is there anyway to estimate the speed(FPS) of a bow without using a chronograph. And if so came some buddy crack the numbers for me.I'm shooting a 2005 Fred bear Mossy Oak obsession 45-60 lbs 27-29 in with a IBO of 294. It is currently set at 55lbs and 27.5 inches of draw. I'm shooting gold tip XT hunters 5575 at 8.6 Gr/in at 26 3/4 inches and a 100 grain point. Giving me a overall arrow weight of 341.05 gr. If some buddy could crack these numbers for me it would be great. Also If you have any suggestions on different arrows i should be shooting it would be well appreciated.

I got roughly 239fps assuming ~8-10grs of weight on the string. You can play with the calculator here:
