I've been kinda thinkin about pickin up some kind of field sling to use while walkin in/out of the woods... any particular ones worth checkin out?? want it to protect my strings/cams, have a little storage space for some spare arrows (only a few), maybe a small box for a few extra BH's, etc... doesn't need a ton of space, mostly its for protection while walking and being able to keep my hands free while coming in and going out each day...

    thoughts? recommendations???

The Primos sounds like what you need but it isn't that great if you're actually stalking and need to get it off quietly if you have an encounter. It's also in the way once you do get it off. Since I need to have mine able to come out quietly and quickly I prefer a simple one that just has a shoulder strap and loops over each cam to carry it. The one I have is made by Tarantula but I haven't been able to locate another one anywhere. I think you can see it pretty well here:

I bought a Primos one that I still use occasionally. I have a pack that has snaps on the back that work well for carrying my bow as well. The Primos one will do everything you want though.

Primos looks decent, Jim (Huntingson) bought one at the GTG last year, that was pretty neat, I don't know who makes it or where one could be found, but it looked like a neat little set-up....

    Jim,
Where are you when we need you??? :D

    I have used this:

You can carry your stuff in the pockets so you won't need a pack. If you need to get your bow ready in a hurry then this isn't a good option.

The Primos one is not one for stalking but if you want one to just carry your bow to and from the stand I don't think it can be beat.
