I have an IQ retina lock sight 5 pin on my current bow and I like it just fine. Has worked well and the centered dot does help with bow torque IMO. I am going with a single pin sight on my new bow as I am getting older and think the single pin will help me going forward.

how does that work? seems that you would not be able to put the pin on your target except at one distance?

How does that Retina work? I was looking at them but it seemed like it would be difficult to see the retina through the peep and would take a lot of eye movement and refocusing.

single pin sights are adjustable, You determine the distance, then move the indicator to the desired distance. Pin or pin housing has now moved as well.

Seeing the retina lock is not a problem at all. I shoot with a peep and have had zero issues.

When I am at draw looking through the peep, all I can see is the pins, I can't see any of the housing of the sight. I have the same issue with the level on a sight, I have to look at it before looking into the Peep and aiming.

Maybe try a bigger peep? if you shoot a 3/16 try a 1/4.

yeah...I'd go with a bigger peep. If you can halo your peep around your sight housing, it gives you an additional point of reference. As soon as I started doing that, I started busting nocks.

The 1/4 inch makes a heck of a difference for me my sight housing is pretty big so the peep I have halo it letting just a lil more light in too

Agree with previous posters. I try to halo my sight housing with my peep for additional reference. I can see where you would have a problem if all you can see is pins if you want to use the retina lock.

its like looking into a leveling bubble sorta.....it basically lets you line up when you set your sights so you know that you are lined up the exact same way every shot. I love it!!! and it doesn't add any refocusing trouble that I can tell. the dot in the retina lock is adjustable also to help you tune it in with your pins and get yourself lined up quick off the draw

I hadn't even thought of using a bigger peep. I was thinking if I switched I would remove the peep all together.

Purchased the IQ Ultra Light 3 pin about a month ago...very happy with it. Set up and sighting in were a snap, and it has definitely helped spotting torque...bonus that my groups have tighten up too.

yea...I know I was torqueing mine a little much cause I would have to torque it to line up the retina lock (that's before I noticed it was adjustable) so my fletching was hitting my string when I released.....but now that I adjusted it and my sight...no more issues
