I am trying to sight in my new bow and it is hitting left on the target.I have moved the sight over all the way to the left and still can not get it in the center.I would have to move it so far over that it would not even be flush on the right side.Any ideas on what the issue could be would be great.

Your center shot is probably off. This is what I do.

    1. Find the level nocking point on the string. This is where an arrow clipped to the string passes past the center of the hole in the riser that the rest bolt screws into and is 90 degrees to the bow string. I use a square to measure.

    2. Hang the bow by the bow string using two nails. Make sure the nails are even so that the string is level.

    3. Clip a arrow to the nocking point that you found in step one. The arrow will hang straight down like a plumb Bob. Adjust your rest left/right until it lines up with the arrow and just barely is touching when everything is hanging freely and movement has stopped.

    4. French tune (Google for instructions). To fine tune the sight and arrow rest windage.

If that is a little much for you, take it to your local shop and have then show you how to do it for next time

Loosen your grip. You could be torquing the bow hand making your self shoot left. but Taking it to a shop for assistance is not a bad idea
