I am in the market for a bow and have been shopping around for several weeks now looking and asking around and reading reviews. I have shot a few bows but my biggest dilemma is I have a real bad shoulder and makes it hard to draw back on most bows. So I am needing something with a smooth draw and that is adjustable. Not wanting to sink a whole lot of money but willing to pay that extra for a good bow. Plan on using the bow for target and hunting. Can yall help me out?
Diamond infinity edge. It has a long range of draw lengths (13 to 30") and is adjustable from 5 - 70 lbs. You can generally get a whole package for less than 500.00. The Mission Craze is also very similar if you have a Mathews dealer near by.
Bowtech just came out with the new fuel that seems like it would suit your needs quite nicely. 14-70 pounds and 18-30''. Best advice though would be to go to your local range and shoot as many bows as you can. Let the bow pick you! More info on the fuel: Bowtech Archery
As stated above there are many great models that will fit your needs. Don't be hesitant at all to go with a 50# or 60# max bow, plenty of k.e. produced to kill just about any animal out there. I agree with getting to as many shops as you can and shooting a bunch to see which feels the best to you, not only for your shoulder, but also for grip, weight, balance etc...
Pse Stinger or Brute. You can get them cheap and at a Max weight of 50 lbs.I believe these bows have 20lbs.of dw adjustment, and pretty darn smooth draw.$299 for Stinger and $399 for the Brute x,bare bows.
I have the Bowtech Carbon Knight with the RAK package set at 59.5 and it is a smooth draw and pretty light
Bowtech fuel, diamond infinite edge, hoyt ignite, mathews mission craze, pse vision. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
I have 2 shoulder that are blown out, have had 3 surgeries and nothing they could do to fix, almost every bow I can only shoot at 60lbs max except the mathews creed, can shoot it all day at 70lbs with no shoulder issues so if I was you I'd go to a dealer and try out a creed. Biggest thing with bad shoulders is having a good valley so it doesn't pull you shoulders out of the socket, which automatically rules out pse or bowtech bows, I personally prefer hoyt but due to creeds smoothness and very generous valley with a solid back wall i chose it.
