hello, two bows... one rated for 60# turned down to 50#, the other an actual 50# max. When they say a bow shoots optimally at its max poundage what difference would I see by shooting these two bows generally? Thank you.
You would see little to none if you are talking same make/model bow and everything else equal. Not saying there would be no difference, just none you could probably discern without measuring equipment (chrono) and a drawboard shooting for you. Now in the hands of an experienced archer, they could probably tell. But an everyday guy shooting in their back yard, little to none. I shoot a lot and I know I can't tell when I shoot my friends bows that are set up like this. They both have Mathews Creeds set up at 60 but one turned down from 70 and one maxed.
