I will be toting my Vetrix without a blind quite a bit this year. My in state turkey hunting largely depends on the out of state trips. I'll have 4 TN tags in my pocket, and a 5 day trip to Kansas for their archery only season before KY season even comes in.

In Kansas I'll likely start the mornings in the blinds and move out from there during the day. I'll just use the exact same setup as I do for deer, Rage 2 blades...I will add a 25 grn stopper behind the broadhead to inhibit penetration a bit.

I've tagged Archery Turkeys in NE. KS. MO. & IL and I sure don't consider myself a diehard Turkey hunter.

TEmbry seems like a pretty accomplished hunter so I know of No reason why he won't kill one or why anybody would want to bet against him in any state for that matter.

i use the old pse set up at 50#,magnus stinger broadheads, hunter blind, and a few decoys and calls boys keep it simple and hunt hard and you will be successful and most of all have fun and appreciate it this is truly a blessing to have the freedom to hunt

If I didn't want to fill that tag so badly I'd gladly take that bet.:D

I'm not going with an outfitter on several thousand acres though....Goin with a friend who used to live out there and has scattered access....I hope you're still right though.
