With Bow season almost here who here is ready? For those of us that are not, what do you have left to do?

I leave in 10 days and I am not completly ready yet. I have to continue to shoot every day until I leave, and I have a few more things to pack. I also have to charge all my batteries for my camera still. I will be gone for a few days this weekend, so next week will be hectic.

Um, I have to put a new string on my bow.

My backup bow is ready but not my primary. I just received my new strings and cables the other day. Was planning on installing them today but decided I need to hydrate instead. I'll install the strings tomorrow and hopefully get it tuned. I have a few more things I'd like to buy but I'm pretty much ready. Season opens in a month.

I have all my stands hung, and all lanes trimmed besides one stand. I will finish that off this weekend. I may end up buying another stand and sticks, to hang in one last spot that I have gotten some good pictures. Other than that I am all set, besides shooting every day of course.

Season starts here this Saturday. Bow is dialed in, then to buy a few last minute items, however.

I need to double check and see what scents I need to re-stock and I probably should get some better broadheads, wind indicator, check my trailcam (Maybe move them), get all my hunting gear out and cleaned/de-scented. Still have 6 weeks. Soon as hunting comes around, I wont be on the PC that much. :throw:

All the scouting is done. Just need to buy a set of sticks, a new safety harness and set of broadheads. Need to get the van cleaned out and the seats taken out. That big ol buck is gonna need all the room I can offer.

Gotta make sure all my hunting stuff is organized and ready to go.

If the season started tomorrow, I could hunt, but there's still some more to do. Still waiting for delivery on a stand. Need to replenish my slick tricks and order a new quiver...oh and wash my clothes.

I am ready enough. Got my broad heads dialed in this evening.

I love my thunderheads more than any other piece of gear, but sometimes they can be tempermental to tune

If season started tomorrow, I'd be able to hunt, but I'm not truly ready yet. I've still gotta shoot the bow one more time. I've also gotta redistribute the camera fleet and see if I can't get on a daylight pattern for a shooter buck. Right now, things are looking sketchy at best.

Stands are hung, lanes ae trimmed, Bow is tuned, food plots are planted, clothes will be washed and contained this week, harnesses checked. I practice a couple times a week and feel 100% with my shooting. The only thing left to buy is a new pair of pants I don't really need and my supply of Tinks Vanish. I may end up buying another stand or two durring the season and bibs and coveralls when it turns cold. If opening day was tomorrow I would be able to go. I have to wait till the GA boys Sept. 10th
