Im looking into getting a new sight this year. I was wondering if anyone hunts with a bow scope and if so how well do they work in the stand? I will be getting a bow scope or a single pin. I am leaning towards one of the HHA single pin sights .

I would not recommend a scope for hunting. I Use scopes all year round on target rigs and have even tried hunting with a low 2x power scope and would not recommend it. For one thing anytime you get in a low light situation, you will not be able to see much, always a chance of getting that nasty glare from the sun, and in some instances your target may be distorted and hard to pick out. Using a scope in archery is completely different than that of a gun. My personal preference for hunting is a single pin like u mentioned. I use an HHA .19 red pin housing on the end of my AXCEL 2000. I love how bright the HHA's are. Another good sight to check out would be the new one from G5. has one stationary pin and one adjustable pin.

Can you explain how a single pin sight works?
