Hey men, I'm new to the site!! Had a question about bows. Been shooting a switchback xt for yrs and am considering finally getting a newer bow. I'm real partial to a single limb bow and have really been looking more at either a heli-m or a Z7extreme verses the newer bows out today. My question is, out of the two what's y'alls opinion on these and which do y'all prefer?!? Thanks

Never shot either one so I can't offer advice on those particular bows. What I can offer is some advice on picking a bow for you.

It's OK to ask opinions about bows and research the different offerings but when it's time to pick "your" bow there is only one way to do it in my opinion. Find a good pro shop that carries the short list of bows you think you are interested in and go shoot them. Even if you have to drive a little it will be worth the trip.

What suits you may not suit me, or anybody else for that matter, but the important thing is to find the one you like the best. That way you will have complete confidence in that bow and confidence will help your shooting.

Great advice!! Thanks it's gonna be hard making that switchback take a back seat after all the truck loads of deer it has killed for me!!! You can bet it will stay completely rigged up and sitting on ready in case anything ever happens to my new one.

Best back-up bow a man can have is one with lots of blood on it!

I shot the creed, z7 and the helium before I made a choice and I now have the helium, greatest bow I ever shot, smooth quite and quick! Absolutely love it

I have a DXT and I love it. I like the new bows but every time I shoot mine I ask myself why get a new one? If it ain't broke don't fix it they say.
