Hey all I just got a Pro Defiant and in the manual they were pretty adamant about only using an X Press to work on it. Anybody out there use any other presses to work on your Hoyt and what would you guys recommend?

    Thanks all!

I think it sounds like you should just let the shop/Hoyt dealer work on your bow... If you're not sure which press to use, or have some disparity in which press should be used, take the bow to a Hoyt dealer and have them work on the bow... Unless you're a pro, which it would sound as if you're not, then you should let a "PRO" work on your bow!!!

I bought a LCA EZ Press with the Ultralock adapters for my 2018 Hyperforce bow. I called Hoyt customer service and asked them if I really needed the Ultralock adapters and they said NO. But be sure the limbs are set equally and fully into the fingers. He also said many of their people use the EZ press and they DO use the Ultralock adapters. So I did buy a set of the adapters, better safe than sorry. Haven't needed to put my bow in the press yet. I don't know if the same thing applies to the OPs bow but I would think it does. Call Hoyt and asked them.

I was working at a Hoyt dealership back through the defiant series which used the same limb system, we were told they would not honor warranties from pressing the bow without the ultralock adapters. I would assume it is the same for the Hyperforce... I do know you can press the limbs because another worker there didn't know about this and slapped his personal bow in the regular fingers, just extended them all the way so they fit the limbs better. Wouldn't recommend it tho
