After a few years of searching, I found my dream bow, A fifty year old Staghorn recurve, Similar to one i owned in 1971, BUT It has been camo painted, Does anyone here know of how to remove this paint without hurting original finish ??? TX in advance

It really depends on what kind of paint. If it's just spray paint there are different ways - I did a quick google search and seen quite a few.

Might want to try mineral spirits. Not sure if it will affect the original finish or not. But it is a safer option than paint thinner. They do have instructions on the can.
