In my opinion you are better off getting a bare bow and then buying the accessories. The bow packages work but the accessories used are sub par. This time of year you can get good deals at some of the bigger box stores. Bear, PSE, Mission as well as others make great bows in this price range. Go to a bunch of places and shoot a lot of bows.

Bare bow with AfterMarket access. is the way to go.

PSE has some great new models in that price range. But i would suggest shooting alot of other brands and see how they feel.

Also, with the new 2013 models coming out a lot of the 2012 models stores still have in stock will be going on sale/ clearance soon. should be able to get a good deal on a 2012 bow.

The 2013 Hoyt Charger has very nice accessories and is around $650 for the package. Shoots extremely nice also

Take a look at Mission bows, I set my Ballistic up with one of their packages, everything in my signature. Also bought a release loop, peep sight, six arrows, broadheads, and field points and came in around $650 total ready to shoot.
