I have a question I have a Parker Inferno Bow that has shot spot on for me until just recently. This winter I shot video league and was spot on at 20yds. Then this spring came and I practiced shooting out of my blind for turkey and that was spot on. have shot a few times since and no problems until last week. I had not shot for about a month and had got a new glendell buck and wanted to practice for the up coming season. When I started shooting at 20 yds I was hitting 2-6" low just on the under body of the deer below the heart and lungs. I also checked my 30yd and 40yd shot the same as the 20yd low. I adjusted the sight for the drop and now its spot on again. I wish I new if the speed dropped off I was shooting around 236 on the video screen dont know what that is in a crono.
What gives what could cause this issue it been sitting in a case?:bash:

If there is nothing physically wrong with the bow my first suspicion would be a change in shooting form/anchor point.

Could be alot if things. String or cable could have stretched. Rest or sight could have gotten bumped. Who knows. Make sure the arrow is still level and in centershot. Make sure everything is tight. If your draw weight has increased your string is stretching (a sign of impending failure) and if your draw weight has gone down your cable has stretched. My guess is something got bumped.

    Peepsight and Anchor Point

I too had this similar problem....It turned out to be that my peep sight some how moved a bit. I was also inconsistent with my anchor point. Once I fixed the peep sight problem..I worked on a consistent anchor point and everything seemed to come together. Try to keep shooting every month...you will be surprised on what a month time off could do.

Yeah, didn't that of that for some reason. That would definitely do it.

Check the poundage. If the cables crept the poundage would be low, your ATA would be long and your brace height would be short. When you get a bow all tuned in and shooting correctly be sure to measure and record all of these; brace height, ATA length, poundage, peep distance from nock point and nock point height above level. It's also a good idea to mark the cams with a line where the limb crosses them. If they go out of rotation or out of sync. you can see it right away. That way you can trouble shoot and easily find the culprit in these cases.

Thanks for the reminder! I need to mark my cams before I leave for Australia.
