i was thinking about getting one due to the inherrant ease of use, and wanted to get some info. are they too good to be true? how reliable are they? is one brand better than the others? im not a speed freak, but i would like to know what my arrows are doing when i change things like vanes and broadheads and such. thanks in advance.

I purchased the one that mounts into your stabalizer.. It is off by about 9-12 fps.. Was reading 289 and the chrono at the bow shop said 301... I just had to figure out about how much it was off, and then add to it to get an idea... I would not bet money on the speed shown to be accurate though......

well, as long as its consistently wrong, i could adjust for that. shoot a few arrows over the bow mounted one, then shoot some through my bow shops chrono and compare. and like i said, im not concerned with the speed of my bow, but it would be handy to know what kind of changes to the speed doing different things to my arrows//bow does.
