Bow locked at full draw!

    would it be wise to lay it on th eground, facing away from you, but nock an arrow so that it hopefully wont dryfire and the arrow is the only thing that goes off?

    Doesn't really matter in this case if an arrow is nocked. The string can come out of the grooves and the bow will fire as if there is no arrow in the bow. It gets pretty ugly pretty quick.

    I have had this happen. The cables derailed and wedged the cams at full draw. I had to get a friend to pry the cable out with a screw driver. Pretty scarey just make sure not to let go unless your by yourself and have to, in that case throw it and run.
