How many of you strictly bow hunt turkey? 4 birds in 4 years during archery season. Just got my fourth this morning....:D

I shoot at them when they're in season... That count? I can't tell how many fall gobblers I've missed that I've had "dead to rights" during bow season. You see... turkeys and me... we have a love-hate relationship.

I personally do not strictly hunt any animal. If it's in season I'm hunting it. Like you I used to only hunt turkeys with a shotgun. I'm looking forward to putting one on my table this year with my bow? Are these all in Missouri? congrats.

In the spring I am a turkey hunting fanatic but have only used a shotgun. In the fall, I'm 99% a deer hunter, but if a bird steps in range, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot one with the bow. I haven't had one come into range in the fall while deer hunting. It's funny because in the spring, our lease is covered in birds but in the fall they are few and far between. We saw them on our cameras a few times this year, but I never saw one while on stand. The season ended yesterday so that just means the ones I didn't shoot this fall should be around next spring.
