Are there any web sites for hunter with like interest where they can organize hunts together?

I'm always reading hunting books about hunting big game in other states and country's that I'd love to do myself. My problem is most of the guys I know can not or will not commit to doing any of these hunts. I'd love to hook up with other bow hunters interested in some cool hunts. Moose. Ram. Elk. Etc.

Would you respect me in the morning?
Who's taking the stalk of shame?

On a serious note I have seen a lot of hunts organized at the local archery shop.

:) yeah, just kidding about the dating site. Maybe more of a facebook thing. I've met some cool guys at Elk camp that we chat throughout the year and meet up in CO each year but I'd like to go to British Columbia sometime and Montana, NM, etc.

Many friends have the time but not the money or the money and no time.

I'm a scorpio that would rather spend time in a tree than in a bar. I enjoy short drags in the morning. Friendly, committed and ready to hit the woods.

Yeah... that sounds a bit :dan:.

To funny, ... this site should help facilitate friendships and hunting trip partners. It is most likely the best way to connect with the shared interest. The draw back though is actual face time and that is important also. There are some other archery sites that may have people closer but personally I prefer this one.

I do help out when I can. I've had a few leases and invite friends but never ask for any $ in return. feeders, stands, cameras I pay for it all as if I was hunting alone. All friends welcome.

I guess my problem is I only started hunting 5 years ago so I'm still meeting people and creating those friendships. It's all good.

It would be Awesome to hunt with you brother, my MR5 and your MR7 could put the hurt on em for sure. I bet it would be a great time. 90% of the time I go out solo and sometimes think it would be cool to have a brother in the field with me... mine is there, just far, far Above me.

I was afraid to open this thread all day.

I envisioned people going from this thread to the weekend beer lineup thread just to see who may be a bit easy this weekend and starting a teaser thread about who just hooked up

That would be cool. You ever hunt Elk in CO?

Have hogs in Fl. Will share:)

Funny. I've been looking at some MR5 to up grade to. Not overwhelmed with the Chill or ChiilR.
