Hey everybody. So I recently got a Strother's Inspire and after putting cat whiskers, an apache stabilizer and bowjax on it, it seemed like one of the most quiet bows ever. Now when I'm shooting next to my buddy who has a Strother Vanquish, his barely makes a sound and mind has a lot of extra vibration I can hear. I checked everything I could think of on the bow and everything seems tight. I just have no idea what's wrong here.

I might record some audio later, just so you guys can hear the difference between his bow and mine.

Granted, he's shooting a 28-inch draw at 60 pounds and I'm at a 30-inch draw at 65 pounds, but I wouldn't think it would make that much difference.

What do his arrows weigh compared to yours in grains per pound of DW or even just total arrow weight?

Are your brace height and ATA still the same as they were? If the cables creep the bow will theoretically get louder than it was when in spec.

When comparing 2 bows side by side the most important factor is what Bruce is getting at; arrow weight. They have to be the same on both bows to make a fair comparison.
