Had to cut my hunt short this evening. After 30 minutes or so in the climber, I stood up to get something out of my pocket. I must of bumped by bow as it was on its hanger, hanging off the shooting rail to my left. My PSE fell about 20 feet. Climbed down to survey the damage. Broke 2 carbon express arrows. I immediately took the bow to a shop to have it checked out. Everything seems ok, no damage found. Shewwww

Be sure to shoot it. I dropped mine out of the tree earlier this season and it looked fine but was definitely a little off.

I dropped mine also this year... Thankfully all was good, it landed perfectly on the top cam, almost as if it was going to stick in the ground that way, then it just laid over.

I shot it twice at 12 yards, good so far. It was to dark to try much further but I will definitely shoot all my ranges before I hunt with it. Hell, one arrow I still can't get it out of the target, lol. Glad I'm not the only one who has dropped their bow. Well, technically I didn't drop it, just fell off the hanger. :)

I did drop my coat the other evening though. I don't wear it walking to or climbing up the stand, I sweat to much. After I cooled down I pulled it out of my pack......down it went. I sat there thinking I hope it doesn't get to cold this evening. I was in my climber and wasn't about to climb back down to get it. After an hour I decided to tie my bow hanging bracket to my pull up rope. I ended up hooking my coat on the second try and hoisted it up! No wonder I'm not seeing any deer, to busy dropping things.

Glad it wasn't worse. Hopefully everything still shoots well.

So, being the creative and unique individual I am... I did the opposite last week, I dropped my hang on stand ON my bow.

As I was hanging my stand last week, I was in a training area near the Demo site on Quantico. Apparently something was needing demo and they let loose an explosion as I am hanging on my 4th stick getting ready to hang my LW Alpha in. One it scared the chit out of me (it was only a 1/2 mile away and one of a series of about 4 they did in a row), two it blew my normal rhythm getting in. Went to hang my stand on and slips off the quick hanger and right down onto my bow 20' below (all I could do was watch it, couldn't react quick enough to grab the pull rope).

I climbed down and checked it, didn't seem gooned up. So I climbed back up, hung the stand and pulled up my bow.

It was gooned up. the stand nailed my Apache Rest and HAMMERED my sights. I was over a really nice rub line and it was a beautiful day. So I climbed down wanting to scream and went home and fixed it. Was out with it the next day, shooting as well as it did before. The Apache is a bit pushed in and the sight has a few nicks on it....but its all good.

    $hit happens.
