Hello everyone, Im chris and im kinda knew to archery and i want to get my kids into it as well. I am about to purchase a new Mathews bow for my 10 year old daughter and myself. My question is finding the right bows for the right price. A dealer has offered me a mission craze fully dressed with six new arrows and release, and a Mathews zxt with six arrows and new quiver for 1395.00. I already have a three pin sight and rest for my new bow. Is this a good deal or should I go elsewhere.

It sounds very similar to the pro shops price by my house.

My husband just bought me a Mission Riot, with the upgrade (very light) 3 arrow Mission quiver (C-clamp) $120, a Scott Wildcat Release $80, Qty (6) Carbon Express Mayhem Hot Pursuit arrows fletched in Blaser Vanes and Extreme 4-pin sight ($55) switched out the limbs to black ...added a "D" loop $20 and a whisker bisquit for $850 total (that includes the tax).

Whatever they offer you, offer them less. As is the ways of making deals. :)

For real though, it sounds about the standard "every day low price" to me. I would not call this a good deal by any means, but it's not over priced either.

I bought my PSE DNA for 500 brand new. Craigslist. You might want to check that place out, I really got a deal on that bow for 400 off retail.
