I've bought a bow (Hoyt Torrex) and I want to buy a quality case to protect it. I'm looking at a few through Cabelas (just because I have a bunch of points), but I was wondering what folks here say.

I was also wondering... for the same price (or less?) could I buy one of those larger pelican cases and cut the foam to what suits me? Has anybody done anything like that and felt they came out ahead?

It should go without saying, but I want a case that will old everything: bow, quiver, arrows

    Thank you!

Back in the early 90s I built one. Cost wise it was probably sixes. It fit everything how I liked it. But it was heavy.
My son took it and modified it and uses it to store a couple rifles in now.

^This. I went with a cheaper and lighter plano... I just don't feel it's going to last as long.

I do remove foam and use my clothes instead, if I'm flying to a hunt.

I just bought a Plano bow case. It has been a pretty good case for my bow. YMMV.
