So I've been a rifle hunter and pistol shooter for years, it's been a good practice for me that I make up a kit to take with me anytime I'm going to travel more than a day to shoot or hunt. Things like springs, mags, tools, replacement parts like scope rings, sling studs etc. I'm thinking of doing of doing the same thing for bow hunting. I'm wondering if anyone else does this and what things yo keep in your kit. I'm thinking stuff like replacement sting, peep sight, kisser button, serving string, d-loop string, NAP quick fletch, nocks, portable press stuff like that. What else do you keep or can you suggest that would be a good to have. I'm thinking of Worst case kind of repairs to save a hunt. Drop your bow, catch it's string or cable and nick it to the point of it not being safe to shoot.

Allen wrenches are vital. String wax is also overlooked often.

not exactly what ur looking for but a back up bow... if ur saving a hunt or what not is your intentions then yiu already have a bow set up and ready to rock... if u were to have to put new strings on then u would have to go through the set up phase... it a lot more money, but ud be ready to hunt... ill be getting a new bow in a year or two and then will have my own back up... rite now i know i can borrow a buddys if i am in a tight spot.

but simple thing are good to have extra of, the smaller things that may fail/get lost/malfunction.
