    Hello all,

I recently made a custom camera mount for my z7. Everything works perfect except when the bow is shot the camera just cuts off. It's a Canon Powershot SD750. The camera is a couple years old but still works great for everything else. It doesnt power of and retract the lens either it just goes blank. The only thing i can think of is the vibration from shooting the bow is causing an internal problem with the camera. Has anyone ever experienced this? Thoughts on how to resolve it?

    Thanks

My guess is that you're right with the vibration. Where is it mounted? @ the stabalizer? If so do you have a dampening stabalizer, that could help.

Otherwise add a couple limb savers or mini-limb savers to it. It might be enough to keep it from shutting off. Otherwise, you need a new camera

I shoulda thought to post a pic :bash:

    Better late than never haha.

It's a little flashy right now but it's just a mock up build. After I get it the way i want I have a friend that does camo dip. Going to get it fixed right up

    Here's a thought.

    Try this....

Comes in Black. Might solve both problems ( Vibration & Flashy ). I've used it on some of my buckles of my Lone Wolf sticks to help reduce noise. Won't be as pretty as camo dipping, but it might be the ticket :tu:

Make sure your battery compartment door isn't opening or shifting. I've seen cameras like this have door issues. It may be moving just enough to release the contacts from the battery for just a fraction of a second which will shut it down.

    Just a thought. good luck!
