Last season my father picked up an Ultimate Predator cam (makes a go pro obsolete) and used one of the provided mounts to attach it to his bowtech. The mount was made for things like handlebars so it wasn’t ideal plus it was so large it had to be removed after every hunt.

For this season, we fired up the 3D printer and created a dedicated mount for his bow and sight combo that can stay mounted all season. The goal was to get the lens as close as possible to the arrow to negate the offset weight by keeping it close to the grip. He doesn’t hunt with a compound very much but when he does, he likes to film.

If you are considering a cam. Take a look at Ultimate Predator.
