Hope it'll be a good one. Happened upon one today by chance just going up for sale this morning locally. 2008 Honda Rancher 4x4 for $3500 and I am the first one who looked at it. 2010 same model retails at $5995. Its been used mainly for deer hunting, even has bow rack carriers on the front. Yeah its manual shift but I don't have a problem with that because of the auto clutch.

Only thing I was leery of is the guy put a 2" lift on, ITP rims and really tough looking tires so its obvious he rode it some on trails. I also get the stock rims/tires with absolutely no wear. After checking it out and taking a ride everything seems ok. No oil leaks, no cracks in the plastic, guy seems honest enough and he is the only owner. Plus he must need the money.......he also just put up a Bad Boy Buggy for sale and an older deep v-bottom boat. Hope I didn't get ripped off. Pics tomorrow after picking it up.

I think you will be ok. Honda makes a quality machine. My friends dad works at the honda dealer up here and it's the #1 sold 4 wheeler because it's reliable and a work horse. I've had one a couple years now and Its been awesome! Have fun 4 wheelin!

honda stuff is definitely high quality, I just HATE HATE HATE shifter quads... I'm spoiled and love the CVT driven quads and sleds... only reason i personally wouldn't buy a honda... if they made a 400-500cc CVT driven quad it would be high up on my list...

I actually enjoy the manual clutch on my Big Bear. Sounds like a good machine. I wouldn't worry too much on the 2" lift. Like was said, Honda's are solid machines.

    Cool!

So when we get together and hunt later we'll have a way to get our deer out of the woods! ;)

Suzuki man myself, but those Hondas are bulletproof. Good luck with her.
