Just bought a couple of new Covert Trail Cameras and inside was an offer for a discounted membership to Huntforce. has anyone used huntforce or know anything about it. It looks cool but what do you all think?
Hey Del Que - If you try out HuntForce we definitely would recommend trying out DeerLab.com as well. I'm biased as I developed DeerLab but there's some pretty big differences between the two. HuntForce's data is an aggregate from every date a photo was uploaded where DeerLab allows you to filter by date ranges since deer move differently depending on a lot of factors like hunting pressure, weather, season, etc. There's a lot of other difference between the two so I would recommend evaluating both.
Just to follow up with the initial response DeerLab patterning system groups photos of particular animals in 15-minute "sightings" so the stats are not skewed. We put together a blog post going over how we pattern bucks and why it's more accurate that counting every photo.
