So I bought a gun I absolutely said I would never buy today, mainly because of recent changes to the model and the fact it is compatible with my Kel-Tec Sub-9 carbine which I have several high capacity magazines for.

I ended up getting the Gen 4 Glock-17. I had my heart set on a Springfield XD tactical but in the end I like the interoperability between my carbine and the Glock. I plan to set them both up with lights and might add a laser to the carbine once I get the rail on it.

I still have my eye on a Springfield Tactical in .45 that the shop will sell me for $530.00 though;)

I thought about getting a big shiny handgun to feel more manly:dan:, but the Glock was a more practical fit for what I needed.

Can't beat a Glock, great choice. In the smaller frame models I prefer the Gen 3's, though. Seem to handle better for me. Went out with their rep a few months back and shot the new Gen 4 G20 and G29(10mm)... Those things are sweet:whip:

Congrats on the purchase. It's always nice to buy a new toy!

Personally I think they shoot great. I can't stand the grip though. Glad you like it!!

Nice.....Glock is hands down the simplest, most reliable, dependable pistol made. I carry a G19 and hoping to get a G26
