I took a second look at those pics, is your left arm fully exteneded? cause the string angle is correct except it does look like your draw is too long because you don't seem to have an anchor.
So I see several problems. 1. Release is way to long. 2. Draw length looks 1/2" or more to long. Those two things will fix other issues. Your anchor is too high in the first pics. Second looks great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
After looking at your pics, here's a couple things I'd suggest... 1= Your an inch to long on draw, the arrow nock should be directly inline with your eye, your way past that. 2= A good coach would work wonders for you because you have a number of form flaws going on that are causing you issues. 3= in the 2nd set your anchor is better, first set was WAY to high, it might feel weird but you need to get used to it. 4= Your stance is way open, your leaning back at your waist a ton, your hyper extending your bow arm elbow and rolling your shoulder up...All those need fixed. 5= A shorter release would help out a lot, your current release is really long. Everyone likes to throw out bow setup solutions to fix issues, but a lot of the time it's the shooter that needs fixing more so than the bow setup...People will say "Do what feels natural to you", well there can be a big difference between "natural" and "correct" and in the end correct will make you a better shot in most cases if you go into with an open mind and willing to change and try.
Looking at the pics... Your draw length is AT LEAST an inch too long. Wingspan divided by 2.54 is exact 99% of the time. You should probably be shooting a 28" with a short d-loop. Most likely a correct anchor point will fix the sight issue. You have to fix the anchor point first, but then you need to make sure your rest is set up properly. You may need to lower the nocking point (raise the rest) and that should get you on your way.
There are a multitude of issues in the form department that make draw length assessment impossible. The first issue is the release is way too long. Give the videos on youtube by Allistair Whittingham called performance archery a good long look. He covers all your issues. I highly advise getting with a good coach or spend alot of time reviewing the videos I suggested. Right now your engraining really bad habits into memory and they will be really hard to break as you get older. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
If I shot a mathews, the wingspand method might work but not with my Hoyt's. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
And this is just what you can see from a front angle. It appears to me the front shoulder is way open which completely throws off draw length appearance. But impossible to know for sure from the front. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
Agreed but even if/when he fixes the form issues I'm still betting the draw length will need to be shortened just judging by how far the arrow nock lands back on his face. But yeah, the form issues have to be fixed before he can ever get the bow to really fit him well.
