Well lets see. My boredom usually starts somewhere around 6:30am and ends around 3:30pm. Been doing the same job for going on 9 years now. There's really no challenge at all anymore.
I work on John Deere ag equipment and for the most part I enjoy the hell out of it. I will say though that since I hurt my arm 3 weeks ago I have been riding a stool all day checking in parts. Now I see why our parts guys are always in a crabby mood.
This week the actual work wasn't too bad. Although the drive from St. Louis to Morgantown, WV was a long one. I've spent all week driving through the hills of West Virginia and Pennsylvania checking on some new coal mines. Never realized how scenic this area was though. Usually I am sitting at my desk on my computer reading through orders or driving to customers, so that tends to get old after a bit.
As a tool maker, the most boring job would have to be boring a hole. But seriously, for me it is drilling multiple holes. Drilled over 160 holes in a steel plate just a couple days ago. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
Refresher training for 10 hours a day, in the spring and fall. Going over fire safety, asbestos, blood-bourne, pathogens, hearing protection, etc. going in 2 weeks, not ready.
I've worked at marine dealerships as well as ag dealerships and there all the same in the parts dept. lol
