I have the irish setter rutmasters and absolutely love them. Mine are 800 gram. When temps were 0 I wore a pair of normal sport socks, a pair of general wool socks and a hand warmer in the toe.. no problems at all.
I'll then wear them during turkey season with just a pair of socks.

I've had them for 2 seasons now and they are still like new.

I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Mickey Mouse boots from Fleet Farm. Cheap, waterproof, and comfortable. Only complaint is that they are heavy but I don't have to hike too far to my hunting grounds.

    I wear 5 different boots

Rubbers = Lacrosse Grange Uninsulated and BPS 800g side-zip
non-rubber= Scentblocker Uninsulated, Irish Setter 800g, Guidegear Big Timber 1400g (Sportsmans Guide)

Lacrosse Grange are awesome, just takes a year or so for them to kinda sorta stop smelling like rubber.
BPS side-zips are awesome, I'm on my 6th season with them and they just started leaking a little. The side-zip is a great feature

Sportsmans Guide stuff is cheap and made in Hong Kong. Not worth it in my opinion.
Scentblocker is also not worth it (not sure they sell them anymore)
Irish Setters are awesome boots, the first ones I even bought 7 years ago. Still perform as good as new

The most important thing about boots is to have a boot dryer. All my boots still smell brand new on the inside. I think its the most valuable thing Ive ever bought for hunting, especially on those days when you hunt back to back days (waterfowlers know what I;m talking about).
