What do you have, I had a pair of Under Armour HaW ones, and they ripped out after a year, the sole separated from the rubber. So I sent them back, and I am getting a new pair. I have been looking at the new Lacrosse ones, with the adjustable back straps and everything. But I always hear good things about Irish Setter. Im not looking to spend over 200 on a pair. And I prefer the slip ons to ties. So give me what ya got. Thanks boyz!

Love the new Lacrosse Aeroheads. I'll be buying another pair in 7MM for late season hunts. If you are looking for a non-rubber or neoprene boot it is hard to beat Danner Pronghorns.

The pair of Danners I currently own (full curl) will likely be my last, though the 453GTX was a fantastic boot. Next I will be going with either a Kenetrek or Schnees

I just bought the Kenetrek Mountain Extremes. I am in the break in period now. Only got about 45 more miles to go. :D

I've had good luck with the Danner Pronghorns and use them in a variety of terrain from desert to high mountains. The last pair I bought were purchased in 2009 and other than being really scuffed up, are still in good shape. This year I purchased the Cabela's Perfekt 10" boots made by Meindl and wore them for the entire season. They were comfortable out of the box and like the Danners, really didn't require any break in. With both pairs of boots I bought them pre-season and started wearing them to break them in. I walked three miles in each pair and they felt broke in the minute I put them on.

Right now for stand hunting I have worn a slip on Under Armor boot the last 2 years. No complaints here.

They are sweet for sure! Beats those UA boots I've been wearing the past two years.

I have always wore Rocky boots. I have a pair of 200 gram Rocky and Scent Lok SV2 boots and a pair of Rocky Athletic Mobility boots in 400 gram for early season. In the late season, I wear 1,000 gram Rocky Bear Claws. I know some have posted about quality issues with the soles but I haven't had any issues at this point. My dad really likes his Irish Setters as well.

I had a pair a Rocky Snake Boots in 2012. The plastic zipper broke and I did not use them anymore. I am looking at the other boots suggested here for next season.

For sitting I have a pair of 800g Lacrosse 18" Burly Air Grips. When I am doing anything else I have a pair that is non insulated 18" Burly air grips. The pair I use for sitting is never used for anything else they stay in my truck in a scent lock container!!
