I am in the market for some new apparel and my small town does not offer a lot for variety to look at. Seeing stuff online is nice, but I want some of your opinions on what you use. Thanks for anything you got!

Also, I am looking for more cold weather gear. South Dakota is rather chilly around the rut!

Artic shield makes some good stuff for a decent price. My bibs are way too warm to use until it gets really cold. They sell it at bass pro

cabela's wooltimate/wind shear line is awesome cold weather gear.
If I hunted in severe cold somewhat regularly I'd own the entire line.

I bought the under armour ridge reaper suit last year and it is very warm and water resistant.

What will be the sole function of your boots? Are you looking for early season, late season, all season? Will you be walking long distances or scouting? Are these boots? strictly for bowhunting or possibly icefishing?

For boots I prefer La Crosses and Irish Setters. The ones (La Crosse) I own are over ten years old so they've served their purpose however my next pair will be rubber or neoprene La Crosses because I've heard a lot of good things about them. Also the ones I have now are great for scouting. The only bad thing about them is really that they my feet do get cold when it's below 40 degrees and I'm sitting for a long time. I think it's because they are kind of snug and if I put on an extra sock my feet can't breath at all.

My Irish Setters are more of a late season/ice fishing boot. They are extemely waterproof and super warm. They are 1200 grams insulation I believe. I would definitely suggest these if you want a warm pair of boots. A few years ago I was at a packer game, was outside all day with 20 degrees, and to be hones my feet were almost too warm.
